We’ve all felt the effects of the recent winter weather. Numerous animals were accepted into MARL’s care this week, several of which were found wandering outside in the cold.
Billy was one of them.
At just two years old, Billy has already experienced his fair share of hardship. He had been surviving outdoors for at least two months before he was picked up and brought to MARL. Upon arrival, he had a large open wound on his back and numerous patches of missing fur. Billy was also missing the tip of his ear from frostbite.
Billy has been receiving much-needed love and medical care from our staff and volunteers and is relieved to finally be somewhere safe surrounded by people who love him.
Without MARL, where would Billy be? Because of your support, we won’t ever have to know the answer.
Please consider making a special winter gift to MARL today and help us finish the winter season the same way we started it – with an unwavering dedication to the animals that need us most.
