An updated HOME for the Michigan Animal Rescue League!

Investment in the future of the Michigan Animal Rescue League begins with a much-needed renovation and expansion of our aged facility. We have acquired a parcel of land immediately adjacent to our current site to allow for the expansion.

MARL was previously operating within 5,400 square feet. We plan to expand the new building to approximately 15,000 square feet. The careful, purposeful design of the renovation and expansion will allow us to better meet the needs of the animals in our care with improved medical and rehabilitative capabilities, space for more impactful socialization and behavioral training efforts, and calm, comfortable housing in which our dogs and cats can thrive.

Maintaining the warmth and charm that makes MARL so special, the new facility will attract adopters, volunteers, and donors, while also improving the experience of community members whose animals rely upon our services. Most importantly, the new facility will allow us to better provide and focus upon individualized attention for each animal and guest.
