During the COVID-19 outbreak, Team MARL is still working hard every day to make sure our animals are safe, happy, and healthy. We are taking significant precautions to keep our staff and community safe while continuing to provide emergency medical care, a safe place for animal intakes, and outreach supplies to families in need.

Want to help MARL get through this tough time? One of the best things you can do is donate! Donations will help us buy supplies as we need them and provide important medical care to the animals.
You can also help the cats and dogs that rely on MARL by donating supplies!
Did you know MARL provides pet food to low-income families in our community? This helps hundreds of animals stay in their loving homes and out of the shelter. During the COVID-19 outbreak, we are sending extra food home with these families to help limit their need to leave home. We currently need these items for both our outreach program and for our animals at the shelter:
– Wet dog food | Any brand
– Wet cat food | Any brand
– Dry dog & puppy food | Purina One SmartBlend
– Dry cat & kitten food | Purina
– Bleach
– Paper towels
– Dog treats

For the safety of our community, please leave supplies on the blue bench outside our office at 1624 N. Perry Street, Pontiac, MI 48340. You can reach the office at 248-335-9290 if you would like to let them know you’re bringing donations.
Supplies can also be shipped directly to the shelter through MARL’s Amazon Wish List.
